Information You Provide
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies that tool. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting service may create routine logs, such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. We use aggregated information to operate and improve the service. Cookies or comparable tools may be used for basic analytics and, where relevant, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to run the service, address technical problems, measure overall use, and improve the reference. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links may lead to county and state record portals, library collections, archives, or third-party search services. The receiving service's policy governs information sent through those links. Sponsored search results are also supplied by an outside company.
Who Can Receive Information
Hosting and support providers process the routine logs needed to operate the service. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and routine logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no user accounts, the service does not hold a user password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If a minor has sent us information, contact us so it can be removed.
Requests About Your Information
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask a website for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information it holds. No Pennsylvania consumer-privacy statute was captured in the project research, so no state-specific consumer-rights claim is made here. Because we retain very little, a request usually concerns a contact message or routine logs. Use the Contact page. Public records held by Pennsylvania, Cumberland County, or Hampden Township offices are outside our control. Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101-67.3104, governs public-record requests to agencies; § 67.901 provides an ordinary written response period of five business days.
Changes to This Policy
Updates will be posted here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
